is Project LEAR45? Project LEAR45 is a private project with a special
purpose: the development and build of a very realistic flightsimulator
based on the Bombardier Learjet 45. The project is supported
by various people and companies as the act of sponsoring.
The simulator (when ready) will frequently be placed on
different events, schools and other locations. This way
visitors and other interested people can take place at the
seat of a real airline pilot and taste how it feels to fly
a modern aircraft.

Why a Flightsimulator?
Simulation is a replication of reality, using a model of
that reality. Simulation is a dynamic process where you
research how a specific situation evolves in time.
Thanks to the complex (computer)techniques that are available
these days, almost all kinds of simulation are developed
to very high levels. In aviation, simulation is an important
business. Pilots are trained for specific situations that
are hard to replicate in the real world.
For aviation enthusiasts the flight simulator is a neat
piece of software. A lot of people aren't attainable to
ever take the place of a airline pilot because of medical
or financial issues. Thanks to commercial flight simulator
software it is possible to get as close as possible to reality!
With a fast computer, a big screen and a joystick you can
fly an aircraft like a real pilot.
But to raise simulation to a first-class experience you'll
need more than that: building a full size cockpit with real
instruments, buttons, knobs, column steering controls etc.
Project LEAR45 will try to replicate the office of a pilot
to an ultimate level!
Why the Bombardier Learjet 45?
The Bombardier Learjet 45 is a small private/business aircraft,
perfect suitable for short regional business trips (short
distance) or so called "City-to-City traveling".
The Learjet 45 uses modern computer operated avionics (Glass
cockpit) with very sophisticaed technology.

Building a full size cockpit flight simulator takes tons
of time, money and energy. The overal planning for building
the simulator will take approximately 2 years, or maybe
a little longer depending on pastime, financial assets and
of course the people and companies that will sponsor the
